On 27th of June 2015 a young man from Nepal decided to change his life.
Rahul Sharma, 19 years old then.
He contacted our foundation and asked for support to start a business somewhere
in the world. And after a long journey....... he could start a project in Portugal.
He found a place in Cascais (near Lisbon): in his shop The Journey he sells
* Nepali art: Budha-statues and thanka's (religious paintings)
* Nepali jewellery: with a unique design from a skilled jewellery maker in Nepal
* Nepali traditional ceremonies: like when there is a wedding and people want to
have an original blessing (called puja) or blessing for a new house or birth of a child.
Then he functions as a Hindu priest makes for your special day an authentic ceremony.
* Nepali food: in Nepal he studied Hotel Management and Nepali cooking.
In Portugal he prepares original Nepali dishes and snacks like samosa's, momo's
and pagoda’s. Freshly made for you in his shop or ready to take away.
* Nepal travel: for Portuguese people who want to travel as a tourist to Nepal,
Rahul makes a program fit specially for you. For just you, but also for groups till
12 persons. Simple travel or luxury, but surely making you feel happy in Nepal.
The Journey will be opened soon....
You can follow the Journey also in Facebook: The Journey
when you have any questions now just contact Rahul:
